Welcome to the series of foundational talks of the Patmos Project “reading” of the book of Revelation. This series of talks is the basis for the book, The Gold Mine, and if you prefer to read rather than to watch and listen, The Gold Mine is available here.
A wonderful promise is made in Revelation 1:3, “Blessed is he who reads, and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.” (NASB) According to this promise, it takes a “reader” and then it is open to “hearers”, both of whom are invited to “heed” the things read, resulting in blessing. Yes, the book is hard to understand at first; someone has to do the hard work of “reading” it. But still, it is prophecy meant to be understood by all who wish. Thus the Patmos Project offers this interpretive reading with a hope that many people will be blessed.
There are 12 videos included in the series, all found below. The whole course is free, and includes a study guide which can be downloaded here. We hope you will enjoy and learn.
